Well, doesn’t that suck?
I have to work tomorrow, a long day, 10am-6pm. I don’t mind my job, I mean, unless you’re doing what you love, which, I’m not yet, but, no one is ever going to love a part time job, just to make some extra cash.
Every single day, before I go to work, I have to take all my piercings out, and put in clear retainers..I’m not even supposed to wear those, but I do anyways.
I work in a store, which I won’t name, but is all about having different people working, wanting to show, how much of an awesome store we are, but, I can’t wear my piercings, and I’m stuck wearing a uniform. To me, that doesn’t seem right.
I would much rather go to a person, and ask them a question, if I can relate to them, whether it’s by piercings, or tattoos. They don’t mind my tattoos showing, but I can’t wear my piercings.. That doesn’t make sense.
It doesn’t seem friendly, and laid back at all. I hate it. I want to be able to wear what I want, when I want to wear it. At least let me dress up a little.
If I’m going to working there, pretty much, all day, every day, I want to be comfortable, and not in uniform. They really need to rethink, and figure out, it’s the 21st century..Not 1812.
